 I. Objectives:
 1. Educational aim: Students know how to pronounce and mark the stress in words more than three-
 syllable.
 2. Knowledge:
 - General knowledge: Students learn some information to fill in a form
 - New words: Words related to a form
 3. Skills: 
 - Pronunciation: Stress in words of more than three-syllables.
 - Grammar: Conditional sentences
 II. Method: Integrated, mainly communicative
 III. Teaching aids: Text books, laptop, projector, hand outs
 IV. Procedures:

Warm-up: (5 minutes)
 - T has sts play Kim’s game, paying attention to Colum 1 Colum 2
 words’ stress.
 - Sts have 6 flashcards with 6 words of more Eco`nomics Phi`losophy
 than three syllables to classify them into 2 
 categories Geo`graphical Psy`chology
 Engi`neering Cer`tificate
 - T asks Ss to read after
 - T leads in: In today’s lesson, we’re going to 
 study the stress in words of more than three-
 syllables.
 Unit 5: HIGHER EDUCATION
- T helps students how to pronounce those words Lesson 5: Language Focus

- Sts listen and repeat the words 1. Listen and repeat 
- T gives sts some rules of word stress in more than (Text book, page 58)
